What  Makes  Us  Different

  • Small Ratios

No more than eight students per teacher in the elementary program and twelve in middle school.

  • Individualized Curriculum

Students entering the program receive a full academic and cognitive assessment. This allows us to discover their strengths and weaknesses, determine the root of their learning difficulties,  and helps us to create an appropriate plan of action.

  • The Success Plan

Our program implements scientifically researched programs proven effective in teaching students with mild learning disorders.  Additionally, our program implements clinical methods which help improve auditory and visual comprehension, verbal intelligence, memory, processing speed, attention, listening, logic and reasoning and organizational skills.

  • An Enrichment Program

In order to motivate our students, our program offers a wide variety of extra-curricular classes.  Both elementary and middle school students are able to choose one elective class per semester for a total of two elective classes per year. We offer art, music and physical education classes.

  • A Wholesome and Nurturing Environment

At Highpoint, we address a student's academic, social, and emotional needs by providing an understanding and caring environment, character education, and strong collaboration with our families.
